For many years we have worked with and supported the teaching staff and students at the Humberstone Academy, here in Leicester. Our most recent project involved a wildlife pollination area and new plating tubs for the school building.
A group of the young students, along with teachers, visited our propagation nit and nursery here at our head office in Thurnby to see how plants are grown. They then had a tour of Coles Plant Centre, our retail shop, to see the plants ready for sale.
The students then selected a group of plants for their wildlife pollination and also some plants for tubs. Teachers, parents and the students will all be involved in the planting.
It was a very enjoyable and productive day. We look forward to seeing the results!
